Zsofia gained her veterinary diploma in Budapest, Hungary in 2012.

She spent several years working in small animal medicine before immigrating to Australia in 2016 with her husband.

She started working at the University of Adelaide’s small animal teaching hospital soon after. It was there she spent the next 8 years of her career, while simultaneously passing the Australian Veterinary Licensing Exam in 2018 and giving birth to 2 wonderful children.

In 2024 she decided to take her interest in internal medicine to the next level and join the BVSC team in Brisbane. Zsofia’s main interests include cardiorespiratory medicine, endocrinology, neurology and medicine of cats.

Her priorities are making sure all pets get the best care possible while ensuring pet owners feel empowered and heard when it comes to decisions regarding their beloved family member’s health!
