Julia completed her graduate-entry Masters’ degree in Radiation Therapy at the University of Sydney in 2011. She was employed at the Prince of Wales hospitalin Sydney in early 2012 as a radiation therapist, where she treated human patients. There she enjoyed treating a range of patients, including paediatrics and stereotactic brain treatments. Julia has a scientific background having completed her Bachelor of Science majoring in Chemistry as her undergraduate degree.
In her home country of New Zealand, Julia worked with animals in a voluntary capacity. Some of the more exotic animals she worked with included cheetahs and red pandas. Julia is dedicated to the field of radiation therapy and finding the best possible treatment outcomes for animals with cancer.
