Upon arrival at BVSC + The Specialist Clinic
Upon arrival you will be greeted by one of our friendly Client Service Officers. To ensure we can contact you at any time, they will check all your information is correct in our system and collect any information you have been given by your veterinarian.
For Cat Owners – we have a cat friendly segregated area to ensure your cat feels safe and comfortable while waiting for their consultation.
We also have a dedicated room for cats so they feel at home in what can be a stressful environment.
What to expect in a new consultation for your pet?
At your pet’s appointment, our clinician will examine your pet thoroughly and discuss any recommendations they may have.
Sometimes the clinician may suggest further tests which may include diagnostic testing or bloodwork.
Most times, these tests can be organised on the same day. Some results can be obtained on the same day whilst others will take 24 hours to get the results (or perhaps longer). We realise that some of our clients travel a long distance to receive specialist care, so rest assured we will work out what is best for you and your pet.
At BVSC + The Specialist Clinic, we are equipped with the latest ultrasound equipment. Radiographs and CT imaging, is performed at the Main Hospital (BVSC + The Animal Hospital) which is located within walking distance from The Specialist Clinic. We will discuss the best way to relocate your pet to the hospital should any of these procedures be required.
Rest assured your pet is in good hands.
Where can I park my vehicle?
Parking is available at the front of the The Specialist Clinic. If you need assistance with transporting your pet from your vehicle, please ask one of our friendly Client Service Officers and they will organise help for your pet.
