Shana

Shana began working the veterinary industry in 2003 and graduated with a Bachelors of Applied Science Veterinary Technology and Management in 2004. Her journey began working in general practice and emergency. She then travelled and worked in the UK for over three years before returning to work in Sydney at the University Teaching Hospital. In 2011, Shana returned to Brisbane after missing family and friends and started working as a rotating specialty nurse, with exposure to Surgery, Medicine, Intensive Care, Oncology, Ophthalmology and Cardiology. It was then that she developed a love for Internal Medicine and Oncology and has been working solely in speciality veterinary practices since. Shana has a passion for high quality animal care, is a die-hard feline advocate and is always looking at advancing her knowledge and skill level. 

Outside of work Shana has a caffeine addiction and loves to spend time with her family and her two beloved feline masters. She also loves live music and has a never ending TBR list.
